Clinic Closure With the wellbeing of our staff, clients, and community in mind, we have decided to close our clinics. Essex Physical Therapy, The Tecumseh Physiotherapy Clinic, and Tilbury Physical Therapy will close effective Tuesday 17 March, 2020 until 01 April 2020. This is a tentative re-opening as we continue to monitor the situation closely. Like many of you, we are following the updates about the coronavirus very closely. To date, the Public Health Agency of Canada has assessed the current COVID-19 public health risk as low, and with your safety in mind, we are closely monitoring their assessments for developments. Your wellbeing has always been a top priority for us at Tenzer Primeau Health Group, and we want to be open and transparent about the additional precautions we are taking regarding cleaning and disinf...ecting our clinics. While we already had thorough standards for ongoing cleaning, we have recently increased the frequency of cleanings of equipment, door handles, light switches, and high touch surfaces. In addition, an increased number of hand sanitizers are available throughout our clinics. We highly encourage all staff and clients to follow the best practices listed below to help keep yourself and others healthy: Wash your hands with soap and water frequently for at least 20 seconds Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands Cough or sneeze into a tissue or the bend of your arm, not your hand, and wash hands afterward Contact a healthcare provider if you have questions or concerns about your health If you are suffering symptoms that are consistent with COVID-19 please stay home We are committed to maintaining a healthy and safe environment for our clients and staff, and will be asking clients a few questions before inviting them to stay for their appointments.
