Working from home has resulted in a new wave of aches and pains. Our tip of the day today is to exercise on a regular basis. At our clinic, exercise is prescribed to patients and we provide exercise plans tailored to their needs and condition. We understand that it’s hard to stay physically active with COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions; especially now that sweater weather season is here. However, staying active is key to thriving while working at home. Whether it’s in the... form of a quick yoga session in your living room, a cardio workout in your garage, a long walk in your neighbourhood or even skating on a sunny Saturday morning; a daily sweat of 30 minutes will melt away your stiff back and neck. If you tried our tips and are still experiencing pain, we can help! Call our clinic at 905-335-3500 or email us at [email protected]. Stay tuned for more tips to come! We’re posting another one tomorrow. Stay safe. Stay healthy. Working from home has resulted in a new wave of aches and pains. Our tip of the day is to optimize your home ergonomics. If you’re setting up on your couch or coffee table, you may end up with a sore neck and a terribly aching back. Try and make your environment a little more ergonomically friendly. Take a couple of books or even empty boxes lying around and put your laptop on top of them. Wherever you’re seated, make sure you’re not hunched over; your back and neck will tha...nk you for it later. If you tried our tips and are still experiencing pain, we can help! Whether you’re a professional or an amateur, make sure you’re using the right equipment (golf clubs, gloves, bags, shoes, etc...).
