Jackson proves once again why he can't be trusted at the piano.
Congratulations "I" on playing your very first song! Your love of music is evident and you are on your way to becoming a great musician!
If you're looking for cute, music-themed masks and would like to support a local small business, please check out the link below from MichelleMade. She has two very cute musical fabrics to choose from along with other options: https://docs.google.com//1FAIpQLSfEZyjJ6ucQbn85kX/viewform
I can't believe it's been 2 months since I've posted on Facebook! It's been a very busy fall so far and I've been blessed with so many new and wonderful students! Here are a few of them.
Beautiful Colouring Job! It was C's second lesson and I have to say that she did an lovely job colouring her binder cover. She has so much artistic creativity - I can't wait to watch her bloom musically!
Jackson Strikes Again Students not only get to connect to music - they get to connect to Jackson too! S and Jackson adore each other.
6 TIMES THE VOLUME, 10 TIMES THE LOVE! Congratulations to H for writing his very first song. Only six-years-old, and he's already composing. Gotta love that title!
Throughout history, people have complained about how hard it is to play the black notes. Voila...the solution!
Ok, this made me laugh. When "some assembly required" reaches new heights!
When a student develops the dexterity to play chords and scales, that's great! When a student has that lightbulb moment and understands the relationship between chords and music, that's fantastic! When a student's playing crosses to the next level to include nuance and emotion, that's wonderful! But when a student hugs you, looks you in the eye and says "I love you.", well, there just aren't enough words to express how that feels.
