In between talking to inanimate objects, I do find my center playing the piano... Wishing everyone a peaceful Sunday.

Repair to a Suzuki GP-3 electric grand piano keyboard. The Company had taken too many shortcuts on the factory floor, clearly trying to cut corners while gaining profit margins. This is inherent to Suzuki keyboards of the same built and creates sluggish keys that won't come back up; and it will only get worse over time. The repair is extremely time consuming but with good outcome. I have done it now several times.

Today at a customer's house...

Fazioli F228, F212, F156 It's a great day any day you get to tune a Fazioli grand piano. But THREE of them? Well, that is just over the top GREAT. Thank you, Gemma and family for making me your technician. It is a pleasure and an honor to work on your pianos.

I will now be offering virtual piano tuning

Yamaha P22 from SD36 (Surrey School District) in need of some work. Hammers have worn and need to be reshaped. Flangle cord is old and fragile, many are broken so the entire set will need to be replaced. All this work takes hours but parts cost is minimal.

Here is a Kawai GE-1 grand piano in some serious need of help. Back checks are practically worn out and along with them many of the action parts. This piano is being played at least 12 hours every day.
