Feel-good story ALERT! Last Friday we were visited by a couple that have been married for 45 years. they came specifically to see Kawai grand pianos and told me their story, here it is in the husband's own words: "I gave my wife her birthday gift, it was a bunch of scrabble tiles and I told her she’d have to figure out what they spelled to know her actual gift." "She worked on it for a while while eating her breakfast with no luck. I then gave her the first clue - 3 5 4 5 5.... She figured out that that was the number of words and the number of letters in each word. Still no luck. I then gave her the next and final clue - 3 12 11 7 7. This stumped her so I had to ensure she realized that she was dealing with scrabble tiles and that each had a number assigned as well as a letter. She then realized that the numbers were the point value of each word and immediately got the first word ‘ONE’. Within a couple of minutes she got ‘GRAND’. From there on it was easy for her to get...." for us at Capital City Keyboards, THIS is about as great-a-story of love and love of music as we could ever hope to repeat! Congratulations to this wonderful couple, you now have a terrific addition to their family, the Kawai 5' 0" GL-10, a spectacular combination of touch and tone, including the Millenium III carbon fibre action (100% made in Japan)!
