We know we don’t need to wait for a new year to reflect on what has been, but 2020 has kept us pretty focused on the ever-changing tasks at hand - and so as 2021 arrives, we’re taking a rest day to quietly reflect on the people who supported our effort to bring a taste of Naples into your homes when seeing your smiling faces in person wasn’t possible. To every member of the spirited Piatto team who consistently rose above chaos and crisis to do whatever was needed to ensure ...Piatto as we know it could continue, thank-you. To our friends and family who stood and continue to stand by us, thank- you and to everyone who has made Piatto a regular part of your world, we feel privileged to occupy a little slice of your life. The past year presented significant challenges, but the hurdles we’ve overcome together affirmed that when we band together, anything is possible. We’re shaking things up for November at Piatto Duckworth Each Tuesday for the whole month were letting our pasta dishes take centre stage. At each pasta night you’ll get to try a new house-made pasta creation and as always there’s a few extras we’ve got tucked up our sleeves. Our fingers were frozen but our hearts were full as we checked in with our little warrior friend Abigale Saturday night. She was busy leading this year’s virtual adaptation of the Light the Night Walk in aid of blood cancer initiatives but we were happy to follow along and help her #LightTheNight. Today is a very special one for the entire Piatto Family, we're celebrating a decade since we first opened our doors to welcome you into our family! Thanks to an incredible team and loyal guests over the years, we have been very fortunate to be a part of some spectacular moments over the last decade. First dates, proposals, weddings, and even welcoming new little family members to the world, we count ourselves lucky to have played some small part in those precious moments with you. Now 10 years, 8 restaurants, thousands of wood-fired pizzas, and a million smiling faces later we are as grateful for your visits and moments as we were in that first year.
