Pick Your Flooring

2foot by one foot tile , the cement had paint on it had to grind off the paint then add self leveler to make the floor smooth and flat before laying the tile, it’s a 1/16 grout joint because I belive it looks nicer then a 1/8 and definitely better then a 3/16 th you need to start with a smooth flat surface or it will be harder to get a excellent result

Another little sneak peak it’s looking great though , took way more time then estimated , I thought I thought of all the problems that may come up and solved them before they happend , but there were some issues come up , but I used my big bag of tricks and problems were solved fast with little head scratching and now on to the front entry part there was a trick to doing 2 places with tile with a hard wood as the main part of the floor at opposite sides that will expand and if it expands it can be a disaster but I made sure it can expand during season change

COMING SOON ........this is a splash pattern tile hexagon, very random and the hardwood will be hand scribed around the tile , it will be hard because instead of flat I will also have to be perfectly level so the tile and hardwood matched there are many things I have been thinking about with this job for the last month from prep materials and had to look at every problem that may come up and figure out a answer to the problem, this is labour intensive not going to be your average instal , I had the customer lay them out in the colours she would like and then I put numbers on each one prior to doing my substrate and squaring the room , so every tile has their individual spot ,

Chris did our entire main level flooring and did an amazing job. Super impressed with his detailed work around our fireplace as well.He always responded to our questions and messages promptly, super easy to talk to and get a hold of, full of great advice and honest!
