As we head into the New Year and another lockdown, we are fortunate to stay open with modified procedures and we remain grateful for your continued support of our small business! NEW PROCEDURES: Face masks (covering your nose, mouth, and chin) must be worn at all times. Please wash your hands or use hand sanitizer after entering the store.... Please DO NOT enter the store if: o you are not feeling well; o you have visited with anyone outside of your household in the previous 14 days; or o if you have traveled outside of the boundaries of our health unit. Wine bottling appointments are one-at-a-time, two people maximum, same household only. Wine making is also by appointment only. Please call or email us to book an appointment to make your next batch of wine. 25% maximum occupancy means we must restrict the number of people in the store - so the door may be locked, as needed to ensure maximum occupancy is not exceeded. Please CALL to arrange curbside pickup of wine kits and supplies. We are pleased to let you know that we will remain open for business! We understand that this is a very unsettling time for everyone and we are receiving many inquiries from our customers about whether or not we can remain open. I reached out to the AGCO to inquire as to whether our industry is deemed essential based on the Government of Ontario’s published List of Essential Workplaces. Their interpretation of the guidelines is that ferment on premise locations like ours fit ...into the following "Essential Workplaces" category: #4. Beer, wine and liquor stores and alcohol producers, and stores that sell beer and wine through arrangements with authorized providers. So, the good news is: We will remain open! We will continue to practice our stringent sanitising routines and offer staggered bottling times to keep us all safe. Please do not visit if you have travelled at all in the last few weeks and/or are feeling unwell. Please use the soap and sanitizer available to you, in store.
