Guess what? Although plenty of adults tell their dentists that they floss daily, most of them stretch the truth for immediate approval during their checkup! We recommend that you start flossing now! It is never too late to start! Floss once a day, and do it whenever is most convenient for you! #PictonDentalCentre #PictonDentist #Floss

We love introducing our team! Meet Karlyn, our practice manager. Karlyn started working at Picton Dental Centre as a Sterilization Technician in 2019. She graduated with honours from the University of Ottawa in 2012. Karlyn is originally from Ottawa, but Prince Edward County locals recognize her from The Lunch Box, where she continues to work since the opening in 2014. Outside of work, you can find Karlyn decorating cookies and cakes under Karlyn’s Cookies or spending time with her fiance Matt and their german shepherd Marceline.

Good health is more than healthy eating and exercise, it is also about your oral health. A simple change that you can make for your oral health and overall health is to eat more vegetables, drink water and avoid those sugary drinks like juice and pop. Right now many people are focused on their health and wellness and this is a good start to get on the right path.
