Today is the Day for our First ever PEC Agricultural Society Roadshow! Remember to stay safe and stay in your vehicle! See you at the Picton Fairgrounds 9:30-4:30 Saturday!

Tomorrow is the big day for our first ever PEC Agricultural Society Drive Thru! We can’t wait to welcome you to the Fairgrounds for a safari around the track. Take your time and see just what the local Agricultural Community has been up to this year! Displays of flowers, veggies, machinery (the latest and vintage), classic cars, trucks, art and More! There will be Performers, and Treats from the food court! (Cash & cards accepted).... The entrance is on Macstevens Drive at the back of the Fairgrounds, and we will be strictly monitoring Safety Protocols! Stay in your vehicle, wear your mask when interacting and no public washrooms (sorry). We can’t wait to see your smiling faces! It’s a free event, slow down and take a look, enjoy yourself! If it’s busy come back later. If there’s space take your time and enjoy the performers and displays. Your welcome to go around more than once! We will be collecting donations for local charities, it’s your chance to give back to your community! See you Saturday 9:30-4:30!

Something for everyone! Tractors big and horses mini! Take a safari from the safety of your vehicle! This Saturday 9:30-4:30 at the Picton Fairgrounds! It’s our first time trying an event like this. If it’s quiet take your time and have a really great look of the machinery or the animals, maybe even stop and enjoy a performer or a snack. If it’s busy feel free to loop around again or return later in the day. It’s FREE so you can be flexible in how long you can stay. ... The entrance and exit will be on MacStevens Drive. And you MUST stay inside your vehicle for your safety and the safety of our volunteers Phase 2 protocols will be in effect! We look forward to seeing you this Saturday at the Picton Fairgrounds!

Have you got a Truck Fan in your house? The Fire Fighters will be at the PEC Agricultural Society Drive Thru on Saturday with their Truck! Or maybe a space age tractor is more your style... Machines and vehicles are a huge part of Agriculture. Come check out the newest and the coolest machines and Farm equipment! We will also have, garden displays, animals and livestock, community displays and performers! ... Slow down and take a cruise around the fairgrounds, from the safety of your vehicle. Phase 2 safety protocols in effect - stay in your car, wear a mask when interacting and no public washrooms (sorry). It’s a FREE event, we will be accepting donations for local charities. And don’t forget the Sweet Treats at the Fair Food Court (Cash & Cards accepted). See you Saturday 9:30-4:30 at the Picton Fairgrounds.

Here’s a great example of how the PEC Agricultural Society works with the community... Our local Women’s Institute will be making and selling Candy Apples at the PEC Agricultural Drive Thru this Saturday! YUM! The volunteers of the WI have donated their time and with a quick phone call to @Creasy’s Apple Dabble (longtime Fair supporter) the Apples were also donated.... These delicious Candy Apples will be sold on Saturday and all funds will be Donated to Food For Learning. Which provides meals to kids at Kente School, CML Snider and PECI. It takes a village! Do your part by coming out this Saturday at the Picton Fairgrounds - 9:30-430! We can’t wait to see you there!

Blast from the Past! It’s nice to look back and see how the Picton Fair has Grown from its roots! We will be celebrating our 185th Fair next year! We couldn’t have done it without all of you and the generations of Fair goers before. It’s important to keep traditions alive, cancelling for a year was too sad to bear. Instead we will be innovating and trying a new Drive Thru - Phase 2 Safety Protocols in effect! Come out on Saturday to our 1st ever PEC Agricultural Society Dr...ive Thru! This Free event will highlight all of the spirit of our Fair! Live Animals, epic farm machinery, beautiful and historic vintage cars and tractors, fun performers, kids colouring contest, flower and vegetable displays from our local Farmers and Growers and more! It’s Free, we will be accepting donations for local charities - bring some cash to support your community.
