We have a new name! As you can see in our banner, the name of the Centre was recently changed by the Pierre Berton Tribute Task Force to better reflect its mission. That mission remains the same: to bring Canadian history to life the way Pierre Berton did, and to highlight the legacy of one of Canada's iconic authors and media personalities. So the Pierre Berton Discovery Centre has become the Pierre Berton Heritage Centre, but it's a change in name only. The Task Force is continuing its work in organizing renovations at the Kleinburg United Church and developing a proposal to house the Heritage Centre there.
