I am a recent graduate with a bachelor of fine arts in theatre, and I am creating a theatre project which, at the moment, has the working title Steel and Coal: Work and Protest. I am looking to interview those who were employed in the coal and steel industries, with the idea of turning some interviews into monologues to be performed as a part of the production. Through this project, I hope to present some of the history of these two industries which helped build many of o...ur communities and shaped our island’s culture in an accessible and entertaining format.
