Pik & Pok Pet Hotel

Cold day for a walk, but Jasper took the challenge. He saw a herd of deer and it was the highlight of his day, and mine. He was happy like a puppy, gathered all the sticks he found in Kingswood and loved the crisp adventure. He hates pictures though, as you can tell by his expression. How do dogs know that you are taking their photo is beyond me, but they always know.

Olive is a 5 months old black lab and this might be her first sundog.

Spent the day with Mikey on Monday. I was so excited on Sunday evening when I went to bed as I knew I was having a doggo come by next day. He was such a nice company and I do miss having dogs around all the time. I am patiently waiting for the good times. Mikey is 2 and he was super sweet, so gentle and we did around 6-8 km together on Monday. I hear he was pooped that night. #lasallemanitoba #pikandpokpethotel

Merry Christmas my sweet furry friends. I have missed you so much this year. I am hopeful that next year we are going to meet again. A huge thank you to my pack members, Minion and Melman for cheering up our Christmas with a special gift delivery. My doggies always surprise me in the kindest ways.

KIA in different stages waiting patiently for me to get ready for our walk. It’s magical outside! You better get out there and experience the joy of the snowflake. Kia was so ecstatic when she stepped out and saw snow. The snowflakes were her special treat. She zig-zagged, criss-crossed her way back and forth, ran around me like crazy happy. It was hilarious to watch her. It’s amazing how contagious the pure joy of a dog can be. She hunted, captured and ate the snow...flakes that she could catch. During this entertainment show she slipped on the ice beneath the snow, fell, got up, zig-zagged all over the place again. She didn’t know what to do with herself and with all the excitement. This scene has repeated itself a few times. I am headed out again for another walk later on. You better be outside experiencing the Christmas lights and the snowflakes. Kia approves!

KIA So we had a crazy fun day with this girl as she has tons of energy. She is full of happiness and playfulness. It was a windy day so she chased leaves and was super fun to watch her jump on them and capture them. She might have chewed and ate some. Her favourite toy is a blue ball that squeezes and she chased that all over the house. She sleeps like a little angel and it’s so cutely photogenic. Check out the last photo of this thread of her taking a nap. It melts your heart. This little lady is a very gentle companion to have. Definitely love her wisdom and sweetness.
