Pike Lake Farms 10.12.2020

Thought you all might like to see highlights of our potato harvest this year. It was a two week process, with some breakdowns (mechanical and mental) along the way, but we are all done digging- now to get them all bagged and stored away. Rough estimate, we harvested 30 tonnes this year. If you have already placed orders, we will be contacting you shortly. If you would like to order some potatoes, we have Huckleberry Gold, Kennebec and Chieftain or a rainbow blend of all three available in 10 or 50lb bags. Send us a pm or give us a call before you come just to make sure we are around :) #grownonmanitoulin #supportlocal #eatlocal #farmfresh

We have started digging potatoes and today was Kennebec (white) day. We will have 50 lb($20) and 10lb ($5) bags of KENNEBEC available at the farm this weekend (we will have other varieties available as we dig, but right now just Kennebec). If you would like a bag, let us know quantities and sizes and we will get it ready for you :)

Market prep day, the kids got a bit creative and made a couple special arrangements ($15 each) as well as their usual bouquets. We will also have fresh peaches and cream variety sweet corn and freshly dug new potatoes. Available at the farm or the nemi market on Saturday morning (9-12)
