Pike Lake Minigolf

There was $590 donated for the trees. I went to Lakeshore Tree Farm today and picked up $588 of trees to be planted around the park. They include three 11' Brandon Elms, twenty-three 4' Okanese Poplars and fourteen 2' larch. The memorial specimen oak tree will be planted when the park gets their tree spade.

As of Tuesday Sept. 1st, we will be opening on an on call basis. To play a round of miniature golf call 306-220-3282 to book a round. We live a short distance from the course and can be there in a few minutes if we are available. For the long weekend, we may be open depending on how busy the park is and what the weather is like.

As a memoriam to Legacy Cooke who passed away after drowning in Pike Lake on August 25, 2020, I am proposing to collect for a large specimen tree and several 3’-4’ trees to plant around the park. When I contacted Lakeshore nursery they said they would donate a large oak tree. I am also putting it out on social media to buy a tree to plant around the park. The trees range from $9 to $25 depending on type and size. The park has expressed concern about getting a large number ...of small trees. We will have to discuss with the park what trees they would like depending on the response.
