A love letter: Dear Clients, As I make dinner tonight I listen to a podcast speaking about appreciation and love. The importance of focusing on that which brings us to a level of feeling absolute appreciation and love for life. I try to practice this often, especially now when the world happenings can leave you feeling a bit wobbly. My husband, my child, my family, friends, pups, our beautiful surroundings and... EVERY SINGLE TIME that I bring my attention to the things that ...make me feel this way, all of you come to mind and heart. I could not express the joy that you all, my studio community, bring to me. Even those I do not teach, or know well. It is the collective, and a contribution of energy we all bring. It warms my heart every time I focus on it. So I’ve paused chopping veggies to say thank you. Hello New Year! I have heard many different perspectives on how 2020 went down for folks. For me it seemed like time was standing still in the moment, but the year as a whole flew by. How is that even possible? I think that comes from not living in the moment. I spent the whole year waiting for what was coming next. Anticipating. In the end I was left feeling like I needed a long snooze. So I will spend the rest of my holidays in contentment and being present.... With a touc...h of daydreaming and creating for the future, but less concern for things out of my control. Riding the wave with joy in my heart and letting go of the outcome. 2020 provided an opportunity to move into great appreciation. How amazing to live in this corner of the world, and open our front door to so much outdoor space. A beautiful bubble. One of my greatest gifts of this last year has been all of you. As things needed to shift, you have shifted along with me and I’m so grateful and appreciative. You have been so patient and understanding. I have felt supported and uplifted by you all. The studio has always been a grounding place for me. A safe space for moving, creating, laughing, releasing emotion. A shared space where a feeling of oneness naturally manifests. This past year has proven it is the energetic connection and not just the location that makes this happen. I much prefer being with you in studio but we have made the virtual world work too, and that is an awesome gift. I look forward to being with you all again. Finding joy, hearing about your holidays, rocking Pilates, and doing wonders for our nervous systems! The studio will be back to regular group class schedule this Monday, Jan 4. I look very forward it! All regulations remain in place. Your instructor will open the door for you 5 min prior to class. STUDIO CLOSURE FOR GROUP CLASSES! Hello all of my amazing clients... my community, my friends. The studio must shut it’s doors to group classes until we are given new regulations to follow. The B.C. government has not provided a timeline on this, so it becomes a waiting game. ... In the meantime I will be running private sessions in studio. I will be in contact with Zoom options, and transition to online as seamlessly as possible. The word ‘Pivot’ came instantly to mind with this news, followed by a chuckle (those who know the show Friends will understand the reference). I will be in touch with each of you with options to keep you moving. Thank you so much for your support. Love and so much appreciation, Hayley

The future is looking a brighter! We will be opening our doors on June 1st! Things will be running a bit differently as extra safety measures are put in place. If you are an existing client please watch for an email in your inbox with details around new protocol and the schedule. Can’t wait to see you!

And this is why I do not do live video calls with clients when the kiddo is around.

I brought some Pilates equipment home to workout on. So far it’s proving very useful as a fort structure.
