Do you own a black vehicle? Don’t you hate that when it’s clean your eyes just gravitate to all the swirls, scratches and marring on the paint? Me too! So aside from polishing the paint, before laying down some protection, here are a few tips to help keep your paint looking its best all year round! 1) when washing your car at a carwash, only use touchless washes! If you are hand washing your car, use a nice and soft mit or soaked microfibre towels and work in straights lin...es......Do NOT wax on and off Daniel son! 2) Anytime you dry your car or plan on wiping the exterior of your paint down, use some form of lubrication like a spray detailer or a wet microfibre towel. Again, work in straight lines and do not work in circles, as you will put random circular scratches into the paint! 3) finally, when wiping snow off of your vehicle, do yourself a favour and throw out any bristle style snow brush you have! You want to use something with a dense foam, where you are able to loosen and gently push the snow off the paint! Snowjoe makes a nice one you can buy on amazon at an inexpensive price! New car prep on this luxurious new infinity QX60! First we washed the exterior down to remove any grime and dirt from the surface. Happy Monday everyone! We took this beautiful Acura RDX and gave it our interior and exterior full detail! The interior was steamed and sanitized top to bottom, the carpets were deep cleaned, all the salt stains were removed and all the leather was cleaned and conditioned. Finally the carpets were sprayed down with a ceramic infused fabric guard to help repel water and staining for the winter!... The exterior was given a wash, clay bar and sealed with a 3 month sealant. All the glass was given the same treatment to help with better visibility as the weather conditions begin to change! Today we took this beautiful Mazda 3 and gave it the spa day it deserved! One of our long time customer’s purchased this vehicle slightly used and wanted it to look and feel brand new! We put together a new video for a black Ford F150 we corrected and coated before the end of summer ! A black Ford F150 that gets used and abused receives a 2 stage paint correction and a 1 year ceramic coating!... All polishing was done with a dual action M21 pro, M15 pro and M312 Maxshine machines. Step one I cut the paint with IGL coatings microfibre cutting pad and Menzerna 400 Step two I used a yellow Rupes pad and Menzerna 400 and 3500. Finally the paint was topped off with IGL coatings F4 followed by IGL premier. The results speak for themselves and we achieved about 85% correction on this trashed and neglected black paint! Every new car deserves brand new scratches right?! WRONG! This customer brought us their new Honda passport to fix 10 scratches put into the trunk of their SUV. Last week we had a customer bring in their black Ford F150 for a polish and a ceramic sealant. The paint had heavy scratches from tree branches, heavy swirls from daily abuse and a lack of clarity and gloss. We did a two step paint correction with one heavy compounding stage and one finishing stage, which brought back clarity and revealed the beautiful sparkling flake in the paint!
