Happy New Year and welcome 2021! A new year comes with new changes. I have made the decision to close my practice at the end of January 2021. I am taking the much needed time to focus on my studies and my family.... I am so thankful to all my clients for supporting me through these past few years as I grew my business. Wishing you all a wonderful 2021!

Day 25 - Wishing you a Merry Christmas with your friends and family.

Day 21 - Nerve Flossing of the arm. These excercises are for the three main nerves in your arm. These movements help stretch out irritated nerves, which can help reduce pain, discomfort or limited range of motion (due to pain). #anatomyadventadventure

Day 24 - Without a doubt, the suboccipital muscles (found at the base of your skull) are the majority of my clients favourite muscles to be worked on. If you look at a computer or your phone for extended periods during the day, or have poor posture, chances are these little muscles are working overtime. These muscles are also a huge culprit when it comes to headaches. Try these out to give yourself some relief between massage treatments. #anatomyadventadventure

Day 20 - Neck Stretches. I don't think it matters who you are or what you do...you need these. The very first stretch I do is not a 'pure' upper Trapezius stretch, but when I switch sides that one is. The Levator Scapula stretch is what we named 'smell your armpit' in school, for obvious reasons. #anatomyadventadventure

Day 19 - Was this shot at 6am? Yes. Is there terrible shadowing? Yes. Am I still in my pajamas? Yes. But all those things aside, this is a great excercise for shoulder stability. The key thing to remember is to keep your shoulder stable or 'locked' so that the movement comes from your arm and not your shoulder. Grab a smaller ball and 'write' the alphabet once with each hand. #anatomyadventadventure

Day 23 - Does your sciatic nerve give you trouble? Pain running down the back of your leg? Try this exercise - 'Nerve Flossing for the Sciatic Nerve.' This movement helps 'stretch' out the nerve and its surrounding areas to help decrease pain and discomfort. Remember to do both sides. #anatomyadventadventure

Day 18 - Pectoralis muscle stretches. These are frequently tight on those of us who sit at desk most of the day. They tend to be the culprits that pull on our shoulders and bring them anterior. Try these stretches and see if you feel any relief. And yes, I know, I really should be smiling more. #anatomyadventadventure

Day 22 - It's double chin time! . These are the Eldoa stretches for your cervical spine (neck). These are great for those that feel a lot of tension in this area. Don't forget to tuck in your chin and change your arms depending on the level. Remember to think of lengthening your body from head to toe and pushing your arms out firmly. #anatomyadventadventure

Day 17 - Arms! I have found while treating clients that their triceps and deltoids are quite tight unbeknownst to them. Give these stretches a try and see just how tight yours are. #anatomyadventadventure

Day 16 - Forearms Stretches. These are my favourite to do after a long day of treatments. They are also great for those of us who spend a lot of time on the computer during the day. Try them out and give your wrists, elbows and arms some relief! #anatomyadventadventure
