Men's night is a good time to be had by all participants with enough ways to win some prizes that even the humblest of golfers is bound to win something at some point. Why not register at the pro shop and give it a try? Thursday nights, 5:00 PM arrival, 5:30PM start.

I finally got around to taking a couple of cameras on a round of golf. Lately I've been walking, which isn't really conducive to photography. So this day I road in a cart and was able to click away. All images captured with a Nikon D750 DSLR & a Nikkor 24-120mm f/4 lens or a Nikon D7500 & Nikkor 300mm f/4 lens

The fifth hole is a par 5 from the blues and whites, and a more difficult par 4 from the red tees. It begins with an elevated tee leading to an undulating landing zone that can create some difficult lies. From there, you have to cross a small creek and approach a dog leg left, elevated green, protected by a tall pine and sand traps left and right at the front of the green. In spite of these hazards, pars and birdies are a not infrequent occurrence from the whites and blues, not so much from the reds. Actually, these images are more close-up than the required 1:1 of macro. The lens is capable, but my eye just doesn't feel comfortable that close to the subjec...t. We are very excited from the news yesterday that we will be able to open upunfortunately we will not be ready for May 4th. We will be ready for golfers on May 8th, with tee times starting at 9 am. Please go online or call the pro shop to book your tee time! The Pinawa G&CC will be following the Manitoba Public Health Covid -19 Social Distancing Guidelines for Golf Course Operations and the following rules will apply during Phase 1 of business reopening. As time goes by an...d regulatory requirements change, the Pinawa G&CC will review and revise, as necessary. We look forward to seeing you on the course soon! Below are some of the guidelines we will be enforcing: 1) All golfers will require tee times. No walk ups are permitted. 2) No more than 4 players per group permitted. 3) Only one rider permitted per golf cart unless living in the same household. Carts will be available on a first come, first serve basis. 4) Entry to the golf course and tee time scheduling will be limited to maintain social distancing guidelines as required. 5) Please limit all transactions to tap enabled credit or debit cards. For safety cash transactions are to be limited. 6) The restaurant will currently be closed. Limited seating availability on the outside patio. 7) Limited takeout curbside service will be available for beverages, snacks and sandwiches. 8) The locker rooms and common areas inside the restaurant are currently closed. 9) There will be no bunker rakes or ball washers available on the course. You can take a free drop in bunker under our local wildlife rule. 10) Pins are not to be touched nor removed at any time. Removing or touching the pin with a gloved or covered hand is strictly forbidden. 11) Pencils will not be provided in the Pro Shop. 12) Score cards will be self-serve in the Pro Shop 13) Do not touch other players golf balls, clubs, or ball markers. Refrain from hunting for or picking up unknown golf balls. 14) No more than 10 people may gather in common areas around the course, congregation of people will be actively discouraged. Golfers are required to maintain social distancing guidelines throughout the course. 15) Plan to arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before your scheduled tee time. 16) There will be no holes or pins on the practice putting green. Use tees to practice putting. 17) Customers will be screened by telephone before a tee time is booked and are prevented from booking if they have COVID-19 symptoms.

The Pinawa Club Restaurant will be closed this Friday, April 10th for Good Friday. Please also take note of our new hours: Take-Out Available:... We will also now be offering delivery services from our regular take-out menu and for previously frozen items free of charge from 5:00pm - 6:00pm on Friday and Saturday.
