Pincher Creek and District Food Centre 11.12.2020

Saturday night plans? How about a Christmas concert? Canadian Pacific has a great line up of performers to entertain you in the comfort of your own home. Special thanks to Canadian Pacific for the donation they have made to the Pincher Creek and District Community Food Centre's Food hamper program. Thanks for helping to feed our community.

Thanks again Shoderee Prime Meats for helping to feed our community. Hey friends of the PC & District Community Food Centre, they have fantastic products and you can still purchase one of their Holiday season meat boxes (buy one and one goes to the Food Hamper program). Great gift for that meat-lover on your list!

Hey Pincher Creek! Here is some info about our upcoming fundraising campaigns, and how you can contribute and participate: 1. A Food Bridge... Using some of the canned food items - and a whole lot of creativity - we are going to build a bridge in the food centre. The goal is to have it complete by the New Year so that it can represent a transition into 2021, as well as be a visual of the generosity of the community. We will post progress pictures on our Instagram and Facebook pages, so keep an eye out to see what we can accomplish together! What and How to Donate: The food centre could use more - dry cereals (Cornflakes, Shreddies, Cheerios, Rice Krispies) and oatmeal - tinned tomatoes, and tinned soups, - vegetable oil/olive oil, - flour (2-5kg bags), - tinned tuna and salmon, - dried soup mix, - saltine crackers. There is an ongoing donation box at the North entrance of the Ranchland Mall. On November 27 from 5-8pm we will have a no-contact drop off at the food centre: Parking lot at 1034 Bev McLachlin Drive. 2. Recipe of the Month Starting in the New Year, we will be doing a Recipe of the Month! Message us through Instagram or Facebook with your favourite recipes, and we will add them to an ongoing collection. Then, every month we will select a few as our highlighted recipes! Give them a try at home, and let us know how they turned out - feel free to send in pictures of your results. Thank you for your support! Happy Holidays! We look forward to sharing our bridge building with you, and to trying out your recipes!
