Looks like that carbon tax is working too well and Global warming has been stopped in its tracks. Well done Justin! Maybe if you just backed off a little, the lake might thaw out before July.

Thank you all for a great season. We have closed all the cottages and the boats are all covered. Just in Time ! Today Monday 20th Nov. we got our first taste of winter. 6 Inches of snow and the Lake froze over. Ah! well at least it looks nice when you look out from a warm room . Looking forward to next summer Allan & Doreen

Wow it's 2017 and this year we celebrate our 20th season at Pine Lake Lets hope it's a good one. Doreen and I just got back from bringing in the new year at Myrtle Beach. What a contrast One Day in the ocean the next shovelling snow ( Actually 4 days apart) So for those of you who ask what we do over the winter the answer is "Play on my tractor" Look forward to seeing you all again this summer

Summer is over and the snow is here, much sooner this year than previously and it caught us all a little by surprise. It wasn’t much fun dodging snow falls to shrink wrap boats, but we got it done. All the cottages are closed up and winterised and Doreen and I are settling into our winter routine. (also known as hibernation) We have managed two quick trips this fall. One to Prince Edward County for a four-day road trip and a much-appreciated break. The second trip was a nove...l adventure to the big city. We travelled by Northland bus lines (a first for us both) to Toronto. Quite a novel experience looking out OF a bus instead of looking out FOR a bus. Never spent so much time in the fast lane before. The purpose of our trip was to see the theatre production of COME FROM AWAY it was truly amazing. We stayed overnight spent most of the following day walking all over downtown before returning again by bus. Talk about sore legs. So, Christmas season is upon us We would both like to wish all our guests and friends (although we do think of our guests as friends) a very happy Christmas and a great New Year in 2019. As usual we will contact most of you in January asking that you confirm your provisional bookings and we look forward to seeing you again in 2019.
