Pine Echo Camp 18.06.2021

Hello Campers, Just wanted to update everyone on a few questions that have come up recently. We have pursued answers from Government Agencies and are doing are best we can to interpret the information available. Please continue to be patient as we navigate through this Stay at Home Order.... Question 1) If we are able to come to our site for 24 hours or less, how long before we can come again to attend to our site? Answer: Nothing has been defined, however, we will interpret that you may return after a minimum of 1 week. Question 2) Can we walk our pets or walk for exercise? Answer: Yes, you can walk pets or for exercise. This is deemed essential under the current Stay at Home Order Guidelines. Question 3) Can our children swim or play on beach, etc. Can our children bike around? Answer: ALL amenities are closed until further notice (only washrooms and showers are open). Children can bike around as long as a parent accompanies them. Question 4) If we stay for a 14 day period, can we leave to go to work? Answer: You may leave for anything essential and come back to your site. You should not go anywhere non-essential, or go back to primary residence overnight. Question, 5) Is the store open? Answer: No, however, the curbside window is available for paperwork and payments. The entry gate is manual access only until the Stay at Home Order expires. The exit gate is still automatic. Only come during business hours please. ** NOTE, under all circumstances, you cannot mix or mingle with any other persons within the Campground. Masks must be worn in washrooms, and proper social distancing required. Children are to accompany YOU on your site and not with other children from another household. Hopefully this will loosen up after June 2nd. If you have any questions, we will do our best to answer or get answers. Lets all work together and get through this. Regards, Ron and Lori Grant

Hello Campers, Just wanted to update everyone to clarify our position for not opening the campground during the Provincial Emergency Stay At Home Order. Many people are debating as to why some Campgrounds are opening and some are not. It is simple. Some Campgrounds are opening because the interpretation to the Emergency Order states, can open if you have a seasonal contract. This statement is open for interpretation thus, Camping in Ontario has stated that anyone who posses...ses a season contract can stay at their trailer however, they must self-isolate for 14 days at their trailer. If they leave their trailer for any reason, they may not return for 14 days. Upon which they again must self-isolate for 14 days. These are Government regulated requirements. We cannot see this working. So many will travel Friday night and camp till Sunday. Upon which they will return home and defy all Government regulations regarding travel, self- isolation and quarantine requirements. We prefer to be part of the solution and not part of the problem. Thank you for your understanding. See you soon. Regards Ron & Lori Grant

Good afternoon Campers, As you may have heard, The Ontario Provincial Emergency orders have been extended until May 20th. We can only hope that the current Covid situation in Ontario will improve over this time. We will navigate through this Emergency Order and, update everyone as best we can.... As small business owners, we will respect our Provincial Government guidelines. Thus, our campground will remain closed with no access during the Emergency Order. We understand that there is discrepant information on camping. For example, camping is available for full season contracts. The clarification on this was intended for Snow Birds requiring housing. Or, so we interpret it to be. Regardless of how we interpret the information. The bottom line is, Stay At Home order. And, unfortunately camping falls into the category of recreational and non-essential. As small business owners, we have nothing to gain and everything to lose by remaining closed. So we are with you. And, we want to open up and see everyone have a great summer as soon as possible. We are continuing to prepare for opening. We appreciate your understanding. Stay safe and healthy. We will see you soon. Ron and Lori Grant

Hello Campers, Hope this message finds everyone safe and healthy. As everyone is anticipating camping season, we are all faced with the reality of the current emergency orders from the Provincial Government. As a business, we are mandated to follow all Government and local Health Board guidelines. As of 12:01am Thursday April 8th, our Campground is closed for the 28 day Emergency Stay at Home Order.... **There will not be any access to your site or the grounds during this emergency order as it is a Stay at Home mandate from the Provincial Government.** Seasonal campsite payments can be made electronically. Or, by mail. We would encourage E-transfers as this method seems very secure and easy and can be sent to [email protected] Our planned opening of May 1st will be postponed until Thursday May 6th and extended from Oct 1st to October 6th. We will provide updates as we navigate through this time. Stay home, stay safe and healthy. Looking forward to an awesome summer once Covid gets crushed!! Regards, Ron & Lori Grant

Dear Campers, As we approach the end of camping season, I would like to thank everyone for an enjoyable season. Considering the obstacles we have all dealt with this season, I feel everyone has done a great job keeping ourselves safe from the Covid 19 virus. However, as the virus continues to cause grief for everyone, we need to implement stricter requirements for the remainder of the season. Effective immediately:... No overnight guests from a different address. Transient camping allowed but, MUST be of same address. Guests are allowed however, MUST leave by 11:30pm. It is your responsibility to make sure your guests are safe to leave. Fires out and gatherings dispersed by 11:30 pm No large gatherings over 10 people at any time. At all times, social distancing is of utmost importance. If you can’t properly social distance, then wear a mask when at risk. Parents, please remind your kids to be vigilant. These are steps we have to take. Just a few small sacrifices will ensure safety and enjoyment for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation and please keep yourself and others safe from the resurgence of Covid 19. Best Regards Ron and Lori Grant

Hello Campers, Hope this message finds all of you well and enjoying the summer heat. As per The Province of Ontario’s Phase 2 updates, we have proactively been in contact with our local health Officials in determining the do’s and don'ts of Phase 2. We will list the new information as it pertains to camping. As of Friday June 12 @ 12:01 am,... 1. Transient camping will be allowed. (Must be of same address in camping unit). We urge anyone to verify reservations with the office as there has been numerous confusing situations during the past few months. 2. Washroom/shower facilities will be open. Social distancing is crucial and you must wash your hands! Parents must accompany young children. Washroom facilities will be cleaned as normal. Self contain in your camper if you are concerned about using the public washroom/shower facilities. 3. Swimming will be allowed. All social distancing rules apply. Parents MUST be responsible for their children at all times. While in the water or on the beach. Do NOT leave beach toys or items unattended. 4. Sorry, NO playground equipment at this time. 5. Visitors will be allowed for day use only. Absolutely NO overnight visitors will be allowed to stay in camping units. All day visitors must safely leave before 11:30 pm. All Campers seasonal or transient, ARE responsible for the conduct of their visitors. You are responsible to make sure visitors DO NOT consume alcohol or drugs while visiting, so that they may safely leave before 11:30 pm. As a seasonal or transient camper, you will be responsible to provide a safe ride home for any of your guests. 6. Store will be open on limited hours. Only 2 persons from same address will be allowed in store at one time. Don’t be offended if you are asked to wait outside while someone else is served inside. Groups of up to 10 people will be allowed and you MUST practice all social distancing rules. All fires and gathering MUST be dissolve by 11:30pm. We shouldn’t have to remind people about this however, it is important for the safety and well being of all Campers. All everyone needs to do is be responsible and respectful to others. Our path to obliterating Covid19 is up to everyone and by working together we will see Stage 3 soon. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Best Regards Ron and Lori
