Strawberry plants available for sale. Cost is $.50 per plant. We have approximately 150 plants available. Varieties are Wendy and Sable. They will produce berries next year. Plants are available first come first serve, starting today. Our address is 2662 Huron Rd. Come on over. I will update this post when they are all gone. Happy planting!!

Weve had many of you asking if we will be open this year. The answer is YES!! We are looking forward to a great season. Our plants are loving the weather weve had this spring. Things will look a little different with the Covid measures we will have in place. So we appreciate your patience and support as we get set up. Stay tuned for more details.

**[SOLD]** Strawberry plants available for sale. They are dormant and ready to be planted. $1 per plant. These are the Valley Sunset variety. They produce a nice jewel shaped berry with great taste. Plant this year and they will produce next year in June. Contactless pickup, or delivery available.

Im not sure if any organic strawberry growers in Waterloo Region that offer PYO. At Pinehill Farms we rely on an integrated approach to protecting our crop, but it does include minimal usage of fungicides, (especially on a year like this). We are happy to share more about our practices so feel free to ask. If you stop by the farm during strawberry season we would love to meet you. We are expecting the PYO season to open around June 20 (follow us on Facebook or website - pinehillfarms.ca) to confirm as the date approaches.

If you ever drive by our farm, you may wonder what these giant white sheets are for. Well take a look at this photo. The rows of thick plants have been hiding underneath our white sheets, called row covers. These covers protect the plants throughout winter, but also act as an incubator during early Spring. So there you go. Fun fact for today

Welllll... Its planting day! The ground finally dried up enough to get our new plants in the ground! These little guys will be producing next year.
