To anyone who wasn't able to join our worship service yesterday, September 27, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for the parting gifts I received from the congregation at Pine River United Church. Thank you to everyone who participated in the amazing, noisy and very fun drive-by yesterday. It was great to see you all in person even if it was from a distance! In April 2018, Pine River United Church undertook the process of investigating to become an affirming congregation. This month, Pine River United Church became an Affirming Ministry. Thank you to the Affirming Committee for all their work.

On Sunday September 13, 2020, the congregation is invited to vote on a new Vision Statement for PRUC and, whether or not, we will become an Affirming Ministry. Adherents and members are invited to vote. The United Church policy is to have only people present vote. This will take place, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the PICNIC SHELTER at THE POINT CLARK COMMUNITY CENTRE (330 Lake Range Drive, Point Clark).
