*** deadline for donations will be December 17 to allow for additional shopping, packaging and arranging delivery*** Hello Pineview I am going to be orga...nizing a food drive for hampers for our community and will have more details on that tonight, but in the meantime I need to compile a list of families in Pineview/Buckhorn area who are in need especially coming into the holiday season. With all of the anxiety facing the population today I hope that we can pull together as a community and help ease the stress level of a few households as we approach Christmas. I will be looking for monetary and non perishable food donations as well as small gifts for children and so on once I have a list compiled and there will be a couple of drop off locations available I don't want names posted publicly, please PM me to add your family to the list or if you know of a family that could use some help this year Drop off locations will be at Pineview Store Pineview hall - during the open office hours Monday 9-1 Tuesday 9-12 Thursday 5-7:30 and My house pm for address please..I can put a Rubbermaid outside to limit contact if needed For now, until I have a better idea of specific family needs it would be fabulous if we can start by getting non perishable food items, grocery gift cards and the like together There are 8/9 families on the list as of this morning 5 of them with children Monetary donations and gift cards can be dropped off to me or etransfered to [email protected] (just pm me and let me know so I put it in the separate account ) The generosity of our community amazes me! Hi there :) With admin approval, TELUS wants to invite the residents of Pineview and Blackburn in Prince George to come to a TELUS Q&A style community informa...tion session to celebrate the launch of TELUS PureFibre! This Q&A session will be happening this Saturday, October 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pineview General Store parking lot. The Pineview General Store will also be cooking up hot dogs, so come down and warm up on TELUS! First 200 attendees get a free hot dog and drink (limit of one per guest). TELUS representatives Howard Tsang, Newton Choy, and Dylan Bartley will be on site to answer any questions that you may have about TELUS PureFibre and other TELUS services. We will be following all official safety precautions by practicing physical distancing measures and wearing P.P.E.
