Our Articled Clerk, Julia Goodwin, recently attended her virtual graduation and officially received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Calgary. We are proud to announce that Julia was awarded the Donnel O. Sabey, Q.C. Prize in Advocacy Law for the most outstanding ability in advocacy in her graduating class. Julia was also the recipient of the Access to Justice Award for her pro bono work and commitment to serving the public interest. Congratulations Julia!

It is with sadness and joy that we announce the departure of Kiel Mercer from Pink Star Barro to pursue the next step of his career by joining the Nova Scotia Public Prosecution office. Kiel has spent the last six years dedicated to our firm. We congratulate Kiel on his new career path!
