New session of mom & baby fitness classes January 4 - February 12. Monday’s and Friday’s 11:30am. Regain your fitness while interacting with your baby and other moms (from a safe distance) in the community. We focus on postpartum specific exercises to improve your posture, repair your core and improve your glute strength (wake up that booty). Participants are safely spaced out with no shared equipment. Strict covid 19 safety guidelines are followed for each class. $120 for 2 days a week and $65 for 1 day a week for the 6 week session. DM me to reserve your spot or for further information

Bringing yourself to a fully seated relaxed position before standing up in your squat is also an awesome functional exercise for the aging adult. You can use a barbell to incorporate more weight and a lower bench to use more range of motion. Zoom prenatal fitness classes. Saturday’s 8:30am December 5-19 (3 classes) $24. While we aren’t allowed group fitness classes in the gym we can still get together as a group and workout online. Carrie is a pre and postnatal fitness specialist, personal trainer and mom. Stay strong as your body is changing and growing your new tiny human. We will focus on prenatal specific core, pelvic floor and breathe work as well as exercises that help battle common discomfort during preg...nancy. Fresh smelling gym clothes... Does anyone experience your gym clothes coming out of the wash smelling good but then getting a bit of a smell once you start to sweat? I find especially my running and hot class stuff does. I do this fresh soak every 2-3 months. I put a little bit of laundry detergent, lemon juice, a good amount of vinegar and some tea tree oil in some hot water in my laundry room sink and soak them for at least an hour. Then put them through a load with some odor killing laundry detergent (I use @tidelaundry), a little vinegar and 1 drop of tea tree oil. As I was huffing and puffing while running up a little incline with Zoey in the stroller she asks me You tired mommy? To which I said Ya, you’re heavy. This is so hard. Then my sweet little motivator said but mommy if you keep running it will make you really big and fast and strong and healthy! You are right little one and on we went. Sometimes I hate running while pushing that extra 60lbs but I love that she watches me do it and struggle and keep going.
