Just another banger from the BL program When I spoke about how supportive our little group was, @leftcoastlove17 was consistently reminding us what it was to link arms and be a positive influence to and for each-other. If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.... This life is a marathon not a sprint. Some days are harder than others and knowing you have people cheering you on goes a long way. Shirene was incredibly transparent with us throughout her journey. Some weeks she’d work out like it was her job and other weeks she struggled with her shift work. Some days she prepped the shit out of her day. Some days she’d order take out. But the message is: KEEP GOING Because little by little, a little becomes a lot. And if you never give up, one day you’ll look back and see how far you’ve actually come. Just another episode of what happens when you prioritize your health and mind @jenelleerika did the 8 week BL program and her goals at the beginning starting shifting as we went on and it was the most incredible thing to witness. More and more people are confused of what they think their goals are and that’s a good thing. We are all starting let go of that old mindset of unrealistic expectations.... Jenelle used to revolve her nutrition around weight loss or management. Which is not a bad thing. But as she started to focus more on her lifts and strength, eating was now about fuelling her workouts. How do I need to eat to feel my best; strongest and fastest in the gym HALLELUJAH THIS is the healthiest mindset shift you can get right here, folks. Did Jenelle lose weight? Hell yea. Maybe it was the pandemic, maybe it was forcing everyone to hang out with me virtually every week. This years Biggest Loser was like none other. I’ve been doing this program for almost a decade and I’m telling you this one was by far my favourite. It was the fact that every single person made meaningful changes. Strides were made in more areas from each person’s life unlike I’ve ever seen. Seeing everyone’s shifts in their mental and emotional health caused a domino effect in... their physical health, behaviours and habits... or was it visa versa?! Moral of the story, change your beliefs and you will change your behaviours. Change your behaviours and you will change your beliefs. This was also the first time EVER I really felt like everyone deserved to win. I have NEVER seen so much positive change from everyone. In my opinion, the key was being able to connect with each other weekly to check in with each other and ourselves. We collectively built a foundation to change our mindset and alter/improve our relationship to food and lifestyle. We encouraged each other to give ourselves grace and patience when things don’t go to plan but also finding a balance of holding ourselves accountable. To not punish ourselves and unhook from negative thoughts. Because you have to want to change, and you need to do it yourself... but you don’t have to do it alone. This group proved we are stronger in numbers. Congratulations to this year’s winner, @cheeks123 ! In 8 weeks, she trained herself to focus on hydration, kept active 3-5 days per week - whether it was walking, doing a recorded workout, at home workout or crushing weights in her brothers garage, she found the value in just MOVING her body. She lost 26 inches, 25lbs and most importantly, changed her mindset.

Can we take a hot minute to admire how far this guy has come?! He’s lost over 100lbs. He works out consistently and will be the first to tell you his journey has had ups and downs. He started with step ups, squat hops, then stair jumps and now we’re more than half way to a 24 box jump!!... He’s lost and gained. But he sticks with it because he knows PROGRESS IS NOT LINEAR. It’s a zig zag. It’s an ebb and flow. Mike is everyone’s biggest cheer leader. His positivity, perseverance, presence and spirit inspires me. He shares his story in a way that makes us all feel seen and heard. I remember listening to him tell a new class mate that when he started, he used sit in his car outside the gym mustering up the energy to go inside; that there were multiple occasions he wanted to just drive home... but he didn’t. He kept pushing through that discomfort and showed up. He shares his challenge of overcoming feeling vulnerable around such ‘fit’ people. Mike chose being uncomfortable because he believed growth was on the other side. It had to be. When you no longer want to be to same, you have to choose uncomfortable. I hope we can all be more like Mike. Stay tuned for his 24 jump!!! @mike.ringer

#motivationmonday comin in hawt Day 3 @jenniferrioux was already feeling amazing just by doing the things she had lost sight of doing pre covid. Drinking water, eating for fuel, getting enough rest and being MINDFUL of her habits. Making a conscious effort to be better and DO better. 10 days later her bloating and inflammation were GONE and she felt - energy and mindset on point!... I can’t wait to see her next 14 days!
