Together with the Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (AIRS), an international nonprofit professional association with over 5000 members, PIN celebrates I&R Day each November 16, to raise public awareness and recognize the critical importance of the I&R field. People in search of critical services such as financial assistance, food, shelter, childcare, jobs, or mental health support often do not know where to begin to get help. They may become overwhelmed searching various websites, or calling multiple organizations, when trying to find the help they need.
