The year is 2022. We've survived the pandemic and we're still kicking it here @dtburlingtonon. Our restaurant is open and we're holding cooking classes and there's the low hum of chatter of guests. Chef @kengzung is letting you pick his brain on some of his recipes but he leaves one thing out. (Of course ) We're thriving and hydrated. But until then... Let us bring the cooking classes to you. We're setting up our fill your pantry kits soon enough but in the meantime, try out meal kits where we have all the fixings ready for you. Make it a date night in and add a bottle of wine!

NEW SPECIAL ALERT Gaeng Hung Lay is a northern Thai curry which has lots of influence from Burma and India. If you followed our stories, it's heavily spiced with cinnamon, bay leaves, star anise and cardamom. Made with different cuts of pork, it's a rich and fatty curry with pickled garlic, ginger and peanuts - a little spicy, a little sweet and lots of flavour but it's without coconut milk! Take home for $10 from our market and heat it up with your dinner. Limited quantities available. @ PinToh

We know that your holiday plans look different but let us make it easier. Let us take care of your New year's dinner. Take us home in these Pintoh containers - a perfect hostess gift where each layer is a different dish. Dinner for 2 is $55, for 4 is $90 and you get to keep the Pintoh! These are the faces of people who are disappointed that you didn't show up for your reservations you booked. Due to the limited capacity and with recent lockdowns in our neighbouring communities, we will be taking a $25 deposit on reservations which will be accounted towards your bill. Let us air out some frustrations that plenty of our friends in the hospitality industry are experiencing. There is a 10 person dining capacity. 10! If you are making a reservation and decide ...not to call us, we hold that table. We hold that table which could have been given to guests who happened to walk in. With margins so thin, timing so important, and pivoting, pivoting, pivoting - every guest counts. We staff, we prep, and we accommodate as best we can to give you the most comfortable and safest dining experience. Life happens - you're late. Call us. You got caught up at the mall Christmas shopping. Call us. You wanted to do take out instead because you felt uneasy. Call us. We understand. We're tired too. As we've stated plenty of times, we are grateful, blessed and thankful that we are still open. We have all our staff healthy and can still put food on the table. Thank you again for your support

Sorry we've been a little quiet over here! Just popping in to say hi and we're still kicking it. Just a few gentle reminders as cold/flu season is approaching: Wear your mask. Yes, even to go to the bathroom Sanitize your hands upon entering Service is slower to account for sanitizing, contact tracing and temp checks... We will also be considering lowering our capacity as cases rise to protect our staff and minimize interactions. If you are not well, do not enter the restaurant. We have many options available to serve you safely, however the health and safety of our staff is ultimately the most important. SPECIAL ALERT Khao Man Gai: Poached chicken with schmaltzy rice, and Keng's addictive sauce of ginger, soy and chili. Have some broth to clean your palate to make room for more bites of fatty rice.... It's a staff favorite and if we could have it everyday we would! @ PinToh

Friday - Sat 1230-9 Sunday 12-8 Reminder: Service will not be the same. We are serving first come first serve and we will be slower to account for sanitizing and the safety of customers.
