A great story depicting a company who Reacted, Reset and Rescued itself from disaster! Wrigley is most well known for his unusual move to support US troops and... protect the reputation of the Wrigley brand during World War II, in which he dedicated the entire output of Wrigley's Spearmint, Doublemint, and Juicy Fruit to the US Armed Forces. They spent all cash on hand to produce gum and sent all product on hand to front lines in WW 2. The payoff came when the war ended and everyone everywhere was "LOYAL" to Wrigley for doing that for the troops. Their business bounced back and flourished and is still a recognizable Brand today!
