Today is one of our favourite days of the year. It is National Rescue Dog Day! A day to celebrate rescue dogs and raise awareness of the amazing dogs that find ...themselves in shelters or with rescue organizations that are looking for their second chance at their happily ever after. Help us celebrate National Rescue Dog Day by sharing a picture of your rescue and what makes them a great addition to your family.

We need your help! If you are interested in joining our foster team and opening your heart to an animal in need, please let us know. We are in desperate need of... fosters to take In adult cats that may need medication, surgeries or are on a special diet. We have saved to many Beautiful kitties from euthanasia and they will be released from our vet soon. Please open up your heart and home to a foster cat that needs you

I just want to remind everyone that adopting and fostering pets makes you an AWESOME human! GPS Guinea Pig Sanctuary, Kitchener needs fosters (or better yet -... adopters) for a number of sweet piggies! If you’ve never had a guinea out, you are missing out!! So cute, fun, full of personality! They make the best faces and noises! They are like having the love of a dog with the independence of a cat - you can’t go wrong! You know you want a pair!

I know that I usually share stories about our furry friends, but this is close to my heart and it's for a very special person in my life.

And this is why we are against puppy mills. 4 years old, terrified, over bred and sick with cancer. Her nails were so long that she could barely walk. I'm sure the person who took her in, gave her a bath and trimmed her before we picked her up, otherwise she would have been a terrible mess.... All she wanted was a safe space to land and love.
