We've had two mini-mules come through in all our years. Sadly Maybelline has since passed away, but Salsa is still being her wonderful self in her adoptive home. Never a dull moment with a mule around! LOL
Prairie and Ginny are doing great too! Tons of space and lots of driving! <3
Jonathan Field put up a great video about Rufio this morning! Rufio and Sable came to us over a decade ago and through much hard work from many fine folks, they are both still thriving today! Our thanks to the team at Jonathan Field Horsemanship! Enjoy!
More updates! Merrilee is doing fantastic, has lots of horse pals of all sizes, and she loves her work as a therapy Mini! <3
Flint and Delilah are doing well, with their big buddy in their adoptive home. <3
On New Year's Day, many years ago, we loaded up the My Little Pony herd and brought them to Pipsqueak Paddocks. Covered in lice and burrs, and with multiple pregnant mares... it was the start of quite an adventure! Who remembers watching the "Dash Cam" for months on end? LOL Here's Fluttershy, she's doing really well with her family. Pinkie Pie is doing fantastic, living with our Fiction on the Island. Big MacIntosh is still the tiniest big boss there ever was, running a herd of sorrels. Rarity is still pals with our Candy, living on a beautiful Gulf Island farm. Applejack and her foal Buttercup were still teaching kids last I heard. Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash are doing great with their families. And the babies Sky Wishes and Sunset Glow are much-loved as well! I think that's all of them! LOL
The "stories" were a naming phase back around 2011! The poster boy here is old Epic! He's doing fantastic! The other "stories" are all doing great too... I've gotten updates on Legend, Fable, Fiction and expect to hear about Myth soon, but she was great last I heard! Did I forget anyone? :D
Okay, I've got about 50-ish adopted Minis to check off my list still (out of the 215 that are still roaming this planet) but I will start sharing some updates with ya'll! Feel free to ask about any of your favourites from over the years and I will post them next! Let's start with a triple! Shadowfax, Jupiter and Sam(Nova) are all doing well! Shadowfax was our last rescue, actually taken in after I announced we were stopping active rescuing. His was an extreme case though, as he would have actually died if we hadn't stepped in. His teeth were so long that he quite literally could not chew. He was skin and bone and living all on his own in the middle of nowhere. We are so glad he, and his pals, are much-loved now! <3
It's that time of year again! If you have adopted a Mini from us, please drop me a note to let me know how they're doing. I do have a FB group for adopters to make it easy for you to keep in touch, just message me for the link! Otherwise I'll be emailing ya'll one by one... which is fine too! Here's our old gal, Lark, looking as spry as ever in her adopted home! I'll post some more pics in the coming weeks as I round up all the updates! :D
BamBam is just loving life! Pretty spry for an old guy! lol
Cinder says Happy Holidays everyone!
About 16 years ago, I met a little horse who would change my life completely. It was Glee. My mother and I bought her to get her out of deplorable conditions and I had no idea that this would snowball into the creation of Pipsqueak Paddocks. Glee is the reason that hundreds of Minis in BC got to have a better life... and me as well. Days like today are only made better when I imagine Mulligan up there on the Rainbow Bridge, galloping as fast as his little legs can carry him, to meet up with his friend once again. Rest in peace Glee, you've earned it. <3 Our condolences to Margaret, who adopted Glee, as well as Joc and Trinket. Thank you for giving her the best years of her life. <3
We're still just hanging out... keeping tabs on our hundreds of fuzzy adoptees! <3 Here's Jet and Cinder with their "brothers", all chowing down at the hay ball!
