Piriko is being developed by a team of McGill and Concordia University Engineering and Computer Science students, all of whom have faced the freshmen struggle of trying to discover the details and intricacies of campus life. Although, social media apps, such as Facebook, are being used to tackle the issue, they were never designed to deal with the particulars of university life, and as such do not provide adequate solutions. Piriko is a platform that enables students to bett...er interact with their university campus. It is a one-stop solution to discover campus activities and meet likeminded individuals. It provides a simple and efficient live overview of all the events and activities and empowers students to easily organize their own events and promote them.
