Hey everyone! Here is a friendly reminder for all you dedicated clay crushers. We are all aware that COVID-19 remains a serious issue and we need to do our part to prevent the spread of this virus. Please bring a mask and be prepared to wear it at all times while in the clubhouse and anywhere you cannot adhere to the 2m social distancing guideline. We ask that you respect your fellow shooters and refrain from gathering at the gun stands and scoring towers. Wash your han...ds frequently and only one person inside the trap house while refilling the machines and wash your hands, yes, again! The PMGC is open rain or shine every Sunday, 10:00 16:00 and every Wednesday evening 18:00 21:00. Don’t let the dark days of winter keep you locked-up inside. Come out to your club and enjoy some well-lit clays and the exciting breaks as part of the Wednesday Toonie shoot. Try it once and you’ll be hooked. Last executive meeting, Bill Fletcher handed in his resignation as a PMGC director. Bill has been a great member of the club for many years and we’ll all miss seeing Bill and his spaniel Brandy around the clubhouse. At the meeting, Bill presented the executive with a donation of $1000! An awesome gesture from an awesome member!!! Bill is moving to Kelowna; the club appreciates all Bill has done for the club over the years and wishes him and his family the very best in his n...ew city. PMGC Members and guests, Welcome to Fall. Everyone knows October is the scariest month of the year but don’t be afraid to grab your shotgun and head down to the club to break some clays. Rain or shine the club will remain open for shooting every Sunday 10:00 to 4:00 and on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00 (under the lights). For those folks who are afraid to get their hair wet or may be related to the Wicked Witch of the West, we will have one Trap House setup with cov...er. This Saturday, October 17th will be a Special Day at the PMGC. We all know that October 31st is fast approaching and the ensuing Zombie Apocalypse. In order to ensure our members have the best chance of surviving this night of terror the PMG is hosting a Halloween Fun Shoot from 09:00 to 5:00. But what would Halloween be without some Trick and Treating, pumpkins and a few ghosts? It has recently come to our attention some of our Trap Houses have been haunted and in the spirit of the season some of our regular pumpkin orange clays have been transformed into Ghost White Clays. In classic Ghostbusters style, anyone who blasts one of these Ghost White Clays will win a Treat. The trick is you won’t know when one of those Ghost White Clays will fly out of the House! Now because the weather isn’t summer-like anymore we will all be searching for a warm place to get the feeling back in our trigger finger between rounds. Naturally, our beautiful clubhouse is the first place most will turn to get the chill off. Unfortunately, COVID-19 isn’t showing any signs of disappearing anytime soon. Therefore, in order to accommodate our members while doing our best to keep everyone safe while entering our clubhouse we have to change some procedures including the following: - From November 1st MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES INSIDE THE CLUB HOUSE - Hands MUST Be Washed/Sanitized when entering the CLUB HOUSE - All seating/standing inside the clubhouse will be 2 Meters Apart. We appreciate your understanding with these new changes to how we operate but the safety of our members and guests remains our highest priority. Finally, remember our club is 100% volunteer run so without members stepping up to help we would not have such an incredible place and events like this would not happen. Dear members and guests, At PMGC safety remains our first priority and as a shooter, you know safety is EVERYONE’S responsibility. This, now, is more important than ever because if you’ve been at the club lately you’ll have noticed many new faces and most of them a smile. Although this is great news for PMGC and we are thrilled to introduce new folks to our sport but as always, there’s a catch: the pandemic is not go’ inaway anytime soon. Therefore, the PMGC would like to ...inform and remind you, we all must continue to SOCIAL DISTANCE while using the Gun club facilities We are currently limited to a maximum of 50 individuals at the club. We have become much busier the last few weeks which has caused us to recommend members who are done shooting for the day, exit the property if we are busy Seriously folks, things aren’t getting better right now according to the recent COVID numbers and the last thing we want is for someone to fall ill. Come to the club, shoot, and stay 2m apart. Enjoy yourself and leave a little sooner than you normally would. Fathers Day Weekend Prize Shoot is done! Thanks to everyone who braved the weather to join us.
