Looks like TAOEX Club is going for a 4th round of development through the #BCIT #ISSP program. Turns out that one of the selected projects got dropped and TAOEX Club got picked up by a team of 4, fourth year computer studies students. The goal will be to edit a few of the input fields, data tables and to make the club into an app.

Congratulations to Lucas Romhanyi for winning the 2020 Expletive Award. Three hard fought games of #Taoex were played over a 5 hour period with Lucas taking 2 of them. Pixelific Games will post a picture of the winner with the trophy before Lucas takes it home for the year.

Trieris: Assault on the Aegean Release In the pre-dawn haze an Athenian lookout is perched high atop a craggy point on a small rocky island. An island at the tip of an atoll that juts forth into the Aegean Sea from the southern tip of Greece. From here he will get his earliest view of the open water that lies between him and the island of Crete. After a moment of breathless silence, his heart pounds as a single mast pierces the veil of fog. He spins and clutches for his sign...al lamp. The light from the lookout breaks through the darkness to the deck of the war vessel that lays in wait for the encroaching enemy. A call of FORWARD rings out across the open deck of the bronze bowed Trireme. One hundred oars suddenly crash through the still surface of the hidden bay and the giant warship lurches forward. Panicked screams ring out from the sinking ship as the momentum of the assault carries the killer keel ripping through the heart of the invader’s galley and its utter destruction. Two projects submitted to the #BCIT #ISSP program, two projects selected. I met the team of five students that selected #MiSDIRECT for their spring project.
