Kneaded a few sprinkles (<1 tsp approx) of Tuscan Sunset and about 1/3 cup grated cheddar into my bread dough just before the second rise in the warming drawer this afternoon. Success! Now to stop myself from eating the whole thing in one go!

I put a hummingbird feeder out for a few days last month but with a grevillea blooming all winter, they didn’t even touch the feeder. Popcorn lovers unite! My favourite indulgence is Saigon Dreams on kettle corn. I heat up a little oil and add about a tbsp of Saigon Dreams, and sometimes a smidge of Thai curry. Heat and stir until I can smell the chilies. Turn off and toss in a bowl of kettle corn. What’s your favourite popcorn seasoning?

Over the holidays I was eyeballing my various wooden boards: cutting boards, charcuterie boards and a lazy Susan, and noticing how dry and dull they were looking. I went into Lee Valley the other day looking forward butcher block oil but instead found Clapham’s beeswax treatment for salad boards, food boards etc. Wow, I LoOOoooove this stuff!!!
