Recently many of us have had to make a mental shift in a covid-19 world, many of us also have had to find unconventional ways of finding love and loving while maintaining distance. One of the ways we're involved in our clients’ wedding journey is through pre-wedding shoots, where we get to know fun facts and quirks about the couple. What we don’t often think about is the influence of weather shaping these interactions. It never ceases to amaze us how couples love, protect, support, and raise each other up under challenging weather conditions. One of our biggest sources of inspiration has been GQ. Extracting comfort, class and confidence from their subjects, the photographers and art directors who collaborate with GQ have entrenched a rather impressive and immersive visual style. And so, when the opportunity presented itself at the Boutique Estate to borrow from GQ's visual playbook, Edem and Hicki were nothing but good sports. After quickly showing them what we had in mind, they both effortlessly impressed us. As ...if it wasn't crystal clear already, we were reminded once again that comfort can't be forcefully woven into an interaction. In our case, comfort and a sense of trust comes from meeting our clients on multiple occasions to make sure they feel completely at ease in our company. #weddingphotography
