Congratulations to our president, Gilles Desjardins, for receiving today the Meritorious Service Decoration (Civil Division) from the Governor General of Canada... for his numerous philanthropic achievements in the National Capital Region! Mr. Desjardins has donated millions of dollars to over 300 organizations in Ottawa-Gatineau. After the tornado, he was among the first to donate $100,000 toward helping local victims, as he also rallied the business community to join his effort.
