Access Now is a great mapping program that promotes accessibility. It allows people to pin accessible locations and add reviews about each location (e.g. Their ramp is broken. or They have new washrooms!). Follow the link below: http://accessnow.me/map/ This is a fantastic tool for people with mobility issues who aren’t sure where they can go out to eat, shop or find services.... Whenever you have your smartphone and a signal, you can update and add to the map.

Join us for the 3rd Annual Cumberland Energy Symposium, where we will explore the theme "Cumberland County: Trailblazers in Climate Change" This is a FREE event open to all. The Centre for Local Prosperity will be joining us to present their documentary "Climate Change and the Human Prospect", the film documents the details and vision of events during the 2017 Thinkers Lodge Retreat in Pugwash, NS. This Symposium will host a number of incredible panelists. We will have intera...ctive activities, and networking opportunities. Register today!

We would like to thank everyone who has sent us feedback, and joined us at our open houses over the past few months. We held our last open house in Wentworth last week, but there is still plenty of opportunity for you to give us your thoughts! Throughout January and early February, we will be looking for feedback on an updated version of our draft policies. Keep an eye on www.PlanCumberland.ca and our page for updates.
