This unique formation is thanks to the cross-pollination of two plant variants, the Senecio Roweleyanus (string of pearls) and Senecio Articulates (hot dog or candle plant).... The dolphin succulent can grow up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall and maintains its shape as it grows. Eventually, you will have an entire ocean of jumping dolphins! Expect small stars like white and pink flowers that smell like cinnamon in the fall. The dolphin succulent requires relatively low maintenance and should be an easy plant for beginners to master. Bright indirect. Thanks to their leaf windows they can tolerate slightly less light than some non-green succulent varieties. Low. Dolphin succulents shouldn’t be watered too often. We were so thrilled to get these gorgeous Red Imperial Philodendrons in the Plant Van shop this week. Big + beautiful https://plantvan.ca/prod/philodendron-imperial-red-large-6/ The decorative, leathery foliage of this plant is stunning! When the leaves come out they are bright red but they’ll darken as they mature, turning deep purple, and finally a dark glossy green. Easy-going Imperial Phil’s grow unique Red/Burgundy foliage, that once mature, can grow to be 24 long.... Medium Bright Indirect light. As members of the philodendron family, Red Imperials prefer bright indirect light, though they can adjust to medium levels of light. No direct sunlight. Medium. Let your Red Imperial dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly when topsoil is dry, usually once a week. Toxic to pets if ingested.

These big beautiful variegated Weeping Figs have our attentionthey can look striking and elegant in almost any setting. We have 2 larger 8 size left in the Plant Van shop (about 24) in height. Loves bright indirect lighting! Some shade is okay, but you do have to be carefulif the light levels are too low then in a short time your Weeping Fig will tell you it's unhappy by shedding leaves. Some direct sunshine will be fine, but midday sun could be too much for your plant..., so early morning or late afternoon sunshine is best. Tolerant of occasional watering mistakes, so giving too much or too little from time to time will not usually do any long term harm. For a thriving happy plant you will want to get it right though and that means keeping the soil moist for much of the time. Talk about a stunner for your plant shelves! Asplenium antiquum variegatum, the Variegated Bird’s Nest Fern has its roots in East Asia. This rare tropical fern features strappy foliage radiating outwards from a central point. With age, leaves develop a mesmerizing variegation, with near-white foliage streaked with fine green lines. Watch as this fern becomes more and more variegated as it grows! This plant comes in a 7.5 lime green pot as shown. Although ferns get a bad repu...tation for being finicky, so long as their basic needs are met, they will thrive in home environments. They are amongst the first plants on earth to form a vascular system, found around the world in almost all environments where moisture is abundant. In general, it is important to provide ferns with plenty of humidity and generous watering. Medium to High. Most ferns like an evenly moist soil with regular waterings. They tend to love humidity, so mist regularly! Low to Bright Indirect. Most ferns thrive in medium to bright indirect light. Contrary to popular opinion, ferns are not typically deep shade plants. They are adapted to the dappled sunlight of the forest floor. Some Ferns, like the Bird’s Nest Fern, can tolerate low indirect light.

String of Bananas This popular trailing succulent has leaves that are shaped like bananas or fish hooks. When cared for properly, this succulent grows quickly, and is easily propagated. #yxw Bright indirect. Thanks to their leaf windows they can tolerate slightly less light than some non-green succulent varieties.... Low. String of Beans shouldn’t be watered too often. When watering, bear in mind that like most succulents, String of Beans succulents are tolerant of periods of drought. not pet friendly!
