B L O N D E How to maintain your blonde during lockdown is a question I’m getting asked a lot. Here are 10 tips so that you can pick what works for YOU! 1. Wash only 1-2x a week (the more you wash your hair, the faster your toner is stripped!) 2. Purple shampoo/mask once a week (or every other time if you only wash once a week)... 3. Sleep on a silk pillow case to reduce dryness, frizz, and split ends 4. Try not to heat style if possible (it can strip toner faster when using heat all of the time) 5. Leave-in treatments and cream stylers are recommended for hydration 6. Detox shampoo to get rid of hard water and product buildup 7. Using oil on your mid/ends 8. Professional products only (drugstore products coat your hair and leave a film or overcast that can dull your blonde) 9. Repair treatments!! 10. Scrunchies or a softer hair tie to reduce tension and breakage I know toners are everyone’s favourite answer, but during this time we have to work with what we have at home!
