Playful Paws Grooming is accepting now clients of all breeds under 30 pounds, all ages, and all temperaments. Alley Jobin, Pet Stylist is excited to be joining forces with Playful Paws Dog Boarding And Services to bring you the quality of care that your dog NEEDS. Our primary focus is a stress-free, no harm care experience for your pups. My mission? Transforming the grooming experience. After starting at a corporate grooming salon, I decided that the quality of care I want t...o provide is much different from the standard. I fully believe in harm reduction, and goal oriented training to rewire your dog's experience. So many pets are pushed to ridiculous stress levels, and taught to simply endure a very scary and disorienting experience. This ends with me. I stand behind "Humanity Over Vanity", and will work with your dog to reform grooming as a positive experience for everyone involved. We book dogs one at a time, unless within the same household, and follow a very precise sanitary routine. This ensures the safest and most comfortable environment for your pets as well as myself and other Playful Paws visitors and staff. Tired of planning your day around a potential 4 hour groom? 1 on 1 makes for a much quicker and less stressful grooming process, with most small breeds booked for an hour and a half! Don't need a whole groom? Let me take care of all the inbetweens! Appointments for brushing, blow outs, tooth brushing, nail trims, ear cleaning, and expression (in-between maintenance), call for availability. I am practiced in hand stripping, breed cuts, and, of course, that teddy bear face. I am well versed in working with excited/nervous/anxious dogs, pets with disabilities, allergies, and the "do your best" dogs that need extra time (see below). I refuse to put our sensitive animals in a position of undue stress, and will therefore work around the best plan for each individual dog. I practice active communication to ensure a quality groom. *FEARFUL, GERIATRIC, EXTRA ANXIOUS, ECT Please specify if your dog may be one that needs extra time. I can accomodate, but communication is IMPORTANT. Please be realistic, open, reasonable, and compassionate when it comes to dealing with decisions regarding services.
