Our Thursday, Nov. 12 meeting was appropriately themed "Remembrance." Larry lead us though a rousing round of Table Topics, Greg and Tom were Evaluators and Howard was our calm in the face of chaos, Chairperson. Most importantly, Stefan showed off his remembering skills by delivering a 5-7 min off-the-cuff speech. While a black belt skill, Toastmasters helps us practice such feats to place them in our back pockets. Our next meeting is Nov. 19 and the theme is "Frivolous Busi...ness Meeting," which sounds flighty on top and dry below but is 2 parts an awesome good time. If you need to boost your communication and leadership skills, esp. in virtual spaces, check us out. You find us a welcoming bunch - Login: https://zoom.us/j/2224567777; Password: 113355

Our Thursday Aug. 13th we explored the theme of Dream Jobs. Larry did a marvelous improv job of running the meeting, a skill best learned in Toastmasters. Stefan did a fab job as evaluator and Randy and Greg did stellar work during Table Topics. Next Thursday, Aug. 20th @ high noon, our theme is"Frivolous Business Meeting." This is where we marry professional development and having fun by learning the medicine of parliamentary procedures with the sugar of silly motions.... We are currently virtually meeting and learning how to do it well, you can to and impress your friends, foes and colleagues by joining our fun: https://zoom.us/j/2224567777 Password: 113355.
Our Thursday Aug. 6th meeting was robust with 12 participants, including a fresh guest. We had a spectacular speech by Tom, warning us of the wisdom of not placing fruit on pizza's and explored such myths as gods, extra-terrestrials, robots, Sasquatches, kilts and extrinsic motivation. Larry, Stefan and Randy flexed some splendid evaluation muscles and Howard wove it all together as the Chairperson. Next Thursday, Aug. 13th @ high noon, we dream on the theme of "Dream Jobs..." We are currently virtually meeting and learning how to do it well, you can to and impress your friends, foes and colleagues by joining our fun: https://zoom.us/j/2224567777 Password: 113355.
