NOTICE OF NOMINATION PERIOD OFFICE OF VILLAGE COMMISSIONER TAKE NOTICE THAT nomination forms may be filed with the Village Clerk/Treasurer’s office located at 27 Pleasant Street, Chester during regular business hours (9:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m. weekdays) between September 14th, 2020 and September 30th, 2020 for 1 (one) candidate to be elected Village Commissioner serving a three-year term ending June 2023.... AND TAKE NOTICE THAT nominations for Village Commissioner shall be made on the prescribed paper form, accompanied by endorsement of 5 electors supporting the nomination on the prescribed form. The nomination form must be signed by the candidate and must be filed in person by the candidate or their agent with the Returning Officer no later than September 30th, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. ELIGIBILITY must reside in the Village for at least six months at the time of nomination: Must be 18 years old and a Canadian citizen on the first advance polling day; Ordinarily resident in the village and has been so since before the first advance polling day; Is entitled to be registered on the list of electors and to vote.
