When we create retail investor lead funnels for our clients, we capture information of interested investors for the clients to follow up with. Oftentimes, clients ask us to just send the leads to the IR section of their website - and in most cases, we say no. Our experience & $16M+ media buy have proven: it is critical to conversion to keep the investor on the platform that they are on to capture the maximum potential leads. Stock A buys $100 of Google ads that sends investor...s to the corporate website: gets 100 clicks, 2 leads. Stock B has the same offering. They instead leverage the traffic of the platform the ad is on and capture leads using a native form - optimized for the platform to auto-populate the user's basic information, saving time and effort. Typically increasing conversion by ~40%. Stock B also ensures the form keeps the investors journey consistent, increasing conversions by ~20%. Having less fields to fill in, ~10%. A strong call-to-action, ~20%. Some great designs, ~40% etc. So, while Stock A gets 2 investor leads, i.e. $50 cost-per-lead (CPL), Stock B gets 6-- 3x more leads and pays ~$15 CPL.
