Well it's August 1st and that means it's time to head downstairs and make sure your furnace filters are clean. Heating mode isn't being used very often at this point in the year but many of you are either using fan only mode or air conditioning which still moves a lot of air through the filter bringing pollen dust and many other Airborne pollutants with it. If you are not using summer mode or fan only on your furnace and would like too considering it's the next best thing t...o air conditioning, call rising mechanical over and have it wired in to help keep things cool at minimal cost. September is coming quickly so book now or to get those heating appliances checked so you don't wake up with old man winter giving you the cold shoulder in case he decides to drop by unexpectedly in September... Which he seems to do year after year with very little notice! See more

I just finished servicing a furnace to prepare it for winter and as funny as it sounds the last person to work on it didn't quite get the bugs out of it before he left. Literally! This little fly was stuck in the orifice right after the gas valve and they couldn't quite get it to meet specifications after clocking the gas meter so the pressure was cranked up on the manifold pressure to try and compensate. It was set at dangerous levels and luckily the fly did not become unlodged because it would have been firing at almost five times higher then what was specified. I am happy that the homeowner now has a safe furnace and all requirements and tests have been done properly to keep him and his family warm and safe for the winter. Call Rising mechanical.... we will get the bugs out guaranteed!!! P.s. this is totally true lol
