The pictures below are from a really fun deck project. Beautiful cedar deck with painted whit newel posts and pickets. Attaching a 12’x12’ concrete patio off of custom built cedar stairs. A beautiful country job near Rocklyn. A simple face lift for this old country farm house. New siding on the gables (keeping with the traditional shake siding). New rustic cedar porch with bulky 6x6 post to give it the country feel. Some wider and more welcoming front stairs along with a new front door to help with weather effects. Just another amazing job checked off the PLY list!

Not your typical contractors vehicle, but when you're blessed with 28+ degree weather.. the summer vehicles are a must! We are loving this sunshine hope you're all taking advantage of the nice weather too!

Unfortunately we did not take many before pictures to show the drastic design improvements we completed on this bathroom. Starting off with a complete demolish and having a blank canvas is always a treat! Replacing everything including improving insulation and all wall board, we know this bathroom is clean and clear of old and new issues. Could not be happier with the final finishes we have. The beautiful choice of cabinet/ vanity, a brand new toilet and the beautiful tile w...ork throughout the whole bath. It really brightens the whole room up. A perfect inside job for us, while the snow was falling outside this nice warm house.

Spring has finally sprung! A quick spring cleaning before the summer hits us head on. But we will be ready! There really is no such thing as too many tools! Realized we haven't been active on Facebook lately, we haven't slowed down by any means. There have been many different jobs completed, we will be posting pictures over the next few weeks. What a fun project we had in Meaford this season, having the opportunity to build a small addition off of the back of an existing family home to provide proper laundry/mud room and a large covered private porch. In many cases this is the better way to refurbish an older building. A complete demolition and rebuild from scratch on a blank canvas. Giving the home owners exactly what they want, and a up to date structure for the present building requirements. It takes a lot of skilled trades to bring a project like this together. And we are happy to have such a talented team.

Very proud of my boys. Really tight mitres, beautiful custom pine stairs and a brand new vinyl floor made this project complete. The PLY guys rocked 2018 and we are looking forward to what 2019 will bring us!

Wrapped up our summer/fall season with the last deck, and just in time to get the new hot tub boiling. These clients chose to draw up their own dream design, and we were able to make it a reality! We enjoyed all the finishing touches put into this deck. This project included locally grown cedar from Valley Fine Woods, insetting the stairs into the deck, bordering all 4 sides and around the hot tub as well as, making a hidden hatch for the access to the hot tub. We had a blast even in the torrential downpours we endured. At the end of the day the only thing that matters is the clients are happy! Special thanks to Hugh Neelands Contracting for their swift excavation and concrete work.

It's been quite a while since our last post, but we have been busy! We had the opportunity to install this beautiful hemlock floor for our friends at Valley Fine Woods. We got to team up with them and use their amazing product. Their quality is like no other! The product was kiln dried to the proper moisture content and later, transported to the customer's home in order to acclimatize to it's new environment. The board sizes randomized from 6" to 15" wide for a unique finish! Also, the 1 1/8" thick, made for multiple sands and refinishing.

It's all about the finished product and happy customers. We took a bit more time on this deck than expected but the end result shows for the amount of love and dedication we put into our work. From designing a corner stair leading off to the back gate and garden shed, using camo screws to have completely hidden fasters, and making a custom painted black rebar railing to accent the beautiful locally grown/sawn white cedar... this deck is a real crowd pleaser. We had a blast doing everything on this project from demolition, excavation, concrete, framing and finishing. "Valley Fine Woods" did it again with their supply of this amazing cedar. Finished a massive 54'x16' deck way out in Markdale. Loved being out in the country for a little while, almost felt like a vacation. We really enjoyed insetting the stairs and boarding around the whole deck. Just missing the railing, Coming soon! And a possible pergola in the future.

Before & After pictures below... Just finishing up a fun project in Collingwood Ont. bringing back to life an aged garage. New Vicwest steel roof, Gentek board and batten vinyl siding, aluminum soffit/fascia, windows/doors. We also want to thank, Peninsula Overhead Doors Inc. for installing this amazing 17' wide overhead door. As well, Hugh Neelands Contracting, for the new concrete floors and slabs. During the initial demo and clean up we uncovered a timeless, old, sentimental bell manufactured in Chatsworth Ont, so we decided to refurbish it and put it out on display on the clients beautiful property. It's always amazing to see what you'll find in some of these old buildings. Bell manufactured in 1915.

These customers bought a new home and wanted new flooring/trim - so that's what we gave them! Custom ash stair treads and nosing manufactured by our local sawmill Valley Fine Woods - Heathcote Ontario. Valley Fine Woods... Brand new dock on beautiful Georgian Bay

A new roof for these folks They decided to go from shingles to steel and were not disappointed.

Finished in time for the long weekend New siding, railing, paint job, soffit, fascia, eaves trough repair, new decking and very happy customers.

The railing is in place!

This new deck will be ready in time for the nicer weather coming Plus, a custom made railing is in the works for this space... stay tuned!
