Good morning to Point Leamington Pentecostal Assembly , As a province we are now at Alert Level 2 and I know many of you are wondering what this means for our Church family. Pastor Baine attended a virtual meeting yesterday with our PAONL Head Office and all Pastors in our Province to receive information and the unpacking of what the Guidelines in this level with restrictions means for us. The government website, Life with Covid, lists a number of restrictions and regulation...s that will need to be followed as PAONL makes a decision (along with other denominational leaders) relating to in-person ministries. (You can read them to familiarize yourself as they are on the government website). Some have inquired about church this Sunday, June 28, and we want everyone from our church to be informed. This Sunday, June 28 we will be Live Streaming a service at the regular time of 11am. If the forecast changes from the present predictions of cool and rain we may do a Drive-in Service (location to be announced). Drive-in Services are encouraged by the government guidelines under Alert Level 2. The way forward will be small and slow steps that will need to be thoughtful and will be challenging. Please be patient and pray for your PAONL leaders and all pastors and Church Boards. Remember we are not alone, we are in this together and your pastors are here for you and we have the Lord who is the ultimate guide and leader. Early next week we will have detailed direction for the path that is before us. Your board has already met last night to continue discussions on what is best moving forward. To Point Leamington Pentecostal Assembly Pastor Baine attended an online conference with The PAONL Leadership and Pastors this morning regarding Alert Level 2. Because of the significant amount of information he has received it will take some time to process and meet with the Church Board and discuss all the information. Decisions have yet to be made as to what Alert Level 2 means and it's impact upon us and how church will look in the next few months. Please continue to pray for PAONL and all Denominational Leaders as together we grapple with Covid 19 and it's continued impact upon us. Further communication to our congregation will be forthcoming in the near future.
