My last session of the year was at our local Shipyards on the North Shore, with my neighbours. We braved the cold rain to have the place to ourselves. Well worth it

Snowshoeing is one of my favourite things these days, I find it so therapeutic. My sister & I went last week, had mulled wine at the Hollyburn lodge afterward and hiked down at twilight so we could check out the string light trials

This is my husbands favourite photo I’ve taken. We were hanging out on Mackenzie beach with some friends and he pointed out these 2 living their best life! So happy I had my camera on me to quickly snap this before they cruised down the beach It reminds me of biking around as kids, I was once tossed into a ditch sitting on my gf’s handle bars We still laugh about it all the time, she couldn’t turn a corner fast enough with my fat ass in the way (her words, which were hilarious in the moment and still are). Ahhh to be a carefree kid again crashing and laughing it off. Shout out to my bestie in London that tossed my fat ass in a ditch, love & miss you!

Gratitude is a powerful catalyst for happiness. It’s the spark that lights a fire of joy in your soul Amy Collette. Having gratitude has been the most powerful tool in staying positive this year. If my thoughts start to spiral downward I do a mental inventory of what I have and love in my life. It humbles me when I think of all the simple things like having a warm home, clean water, soft bedding and endless music at my finger tips. There’s so many people in this world that don’t have these luxuries. This photo was taken a few years back on a friends trip to Tofino. I’m truly blessed with the friends & family in my life, and the opportunities to build these beautiful memories with them

First: I love the missed focus here, makes it feel dreamy . Second: Hasn’t the weather been amazing the past few days, so happy it’s warmed up again . Third: Capturing a family just being themselves is simply the best
